Telegraph

about.

The Telegraph newspaper in the UK is a prestigious publication that recently moved to a newer building. They had a space overlooking the impressive news floor and wanted to do something with it that would impress VIP guests.

challenge.

The Telegraph wanted an experience that would show their advertisers that their money is well spent, as they can place ads in front of the right people at the right time on the right device. I was responsible for working with the client to define the story, and then leading a delivery team to implement it.

solution.

I pitched to the client that the advertisers would get to experience the 'timeline of a story.' VIPs would be visually shown how a story can grow across different types of media and devices through editorials, shares, and follow-up articles. Once defined, I designed the UX and collaborated with a team of engineers and visual designers to implement it. The visuals and technology were smooth, exciting, and impressed advertisers with large budgets.

results.

The Telegraph’s advertising revenue tripled that year. VIP guests included Richard Branson and King Charles.
